Role impact:

The Analyst, Property Technology will support research, planning, and deployment of smart building initiatives contributing to CF’s overall business strategy designed to enhance client experience, operational excellence, digital transformation and environmental sustainability.

As a member of the Property Technology team, your primary duties will include research, analysis, and coordination of tasks relating to the execution of technology-related pilot programs and large scale portfolio digitization. Successful fulfillment of this role requires a clear comprehension of business implications associated with technological transformation and a propensity to collaborate and produce high quality written deliverables.

 

What you will deliver:

  • Support team through research, conceptualization and validation of tangible business values derived from smart building initiatives (desirability, viability, and feasibility)
  • Translate market trends and client needs into company-specific business processes, providing short-term/long-term recommendations for improvement opportunities and enable the team to execute innovation roadmap across the portfolio.
  • Undertake cross-disciplinary research initiatives and contextualize a broad range of qualitative and quantitative data to influence opportunities in portfolio differentiation & market leadership.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders, map out business requirements (BRD), stand operating procedures and success measures.
  • Liaise with the working group to develop high-quality business documentations, feasibility studies, design documents and project brief.
  • Assist in defining day-2 sustainment requirements of new transformational programs, division of responsibility, and implications to ensure effective implementation of operational changes to deliver the best outcome.
  • Monitor multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective buy-in, contribute to development of a successful transformational program, its deployment and day-2 sustainment.
  • Gather data from various systems, analyze and develop progress reports on various initiatives that span both company-wide and departmental areas of focus.

 

What your strengths are:

  • Quantitative skills and knowledge of analytical tools to manipulate large data sets, draw actionable insights, and write reports proficiently for business audiences.
  • Knowledge of process mapping, business process review, project management methodologies and LifeCycle Management best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Inclination to learn new concepts and grow by leveraging best practices within and external to the company
  • Ability to simplify complex processes, leverage data and extract value from various sources
  • Quickly build credibility and partner productively with stakeholders to support advancement of transformation agendas.
  • Good organization skills, excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Superior interpersonal, oral/written/ presentation and communication skills to document and present business and project documents.
  • Self-directed, problem-solver, and solution oriented

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Post-secondary education in business analysis, business process improvement or a related discipline.
  • A minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst for technology or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of solving complex business problems and deploying transformational projects through high-quality research, analysis and project support.
  • Expert in gathering, cleaning and manipulating large sets of complex data. Proficient in various analytical tools and managing business reports.
  • Passionate about how digital transformation and technology shapes the world

 

Starting base salary for this job level may range from $58,194 to $77,592. The actual base salary offered will consider several factors including, but not limited to the role, experiences, skills & qualifications, location, market and internal considerations; with this context, CF reserves the right to pay above this range.
