The Project Manager - Contract will lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary projects within the financial services sector, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. This role operates in a fast-paced, on-site environment and involves collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, from executive leadership to operational staff. The ideal candidate will leverage business analysis expertise to translate complex needs into actionable project plans while managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships. Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills are essential for success. This role offers an opportunity to drive process improvements and contribute to strategic project execution in a dynamic, high-impact setting.

Accountabilities:

·         Manage daily project activities, including scope, schedule, budget, and progress reporting for multiple initiatives.

·         Translate business needs into detailed requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and system workflows.

·         Develop, analyze, and maintain project plans and documentation, facilitating meetings and status updates for senior management.

·         Coordinate with third-party vendors to implement technology solutions and support project execution.

·         Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate solutions as needed.

·         Provide recommendations for improving project processes, deliverables, and overall project efficiency.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in business and technical project management, preferably within financial services.

·         Strong knowledge of retail banking operations and loan servicing is highly desirable.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visio, and project management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and consultative skills.

·         Demonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate with teams, and facilitate stakeholder engagement.

·         Ability to navigate complex challenges, make robust decisions, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

·         PMP certification preferred but not required.
