ONSITE POSITION - MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO CARROLLTON, TX
General Description/Purpose
As a Project Coordinator, you will be assisting and supporting our Project Management Team with assigned project functions such as preparing submittals, addendums and RFIs. You will be working closely with our clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
Essential Job Functions
· Takes direction from Operations Manager and Project Managers for assigned projects.
· Performs routine daily activities in gathering and distributing information to Project Management team and inform Project Manager of potential or known project issues.
· Efficiently and effectively processes, organizes, copies, and files project information.
· Properly distributes as needed project paperwork, documents drawings, specifications.
· Budget entry, assist in tracking, recording and communication project performance to Project Management team.
· Process and prepare meeting minutes, submittals, addendums, RFI’s, change orders, permits, legal documents, warranty, and closeout documents.
· Provide timely technical correspondence and effective communication to internal staff and external customers.
· Assists Project Manager in project buyout and overall profitability of assigned projects as needed.
· Correspond daily with Client, Architect, Engineer, Subcontractors and Suppliers.
· Maintain the level of standard of professionalism and service required by Renu, Inc.
· Process subcontractors pay applications, request purchase orders, and review invoices.
· Perform periodic subcontract change order file audits to ensure all change orders are fully executed and stored on share drive or other designated location.
· Perform systematic subcontractor file audit at close of project to ensure all change orders and invoices have been received.
· Collect all conditional and unconditional lien waivers throughout project for all subcontractors, supplier and vendors.
· Assist the site superintendent and Project Manager to determine appropriate construction methods, sequences, and phasing.
· Evaluate construction quality and safety during site visits.
· Read and understand construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
· Respond to customer service issues.
Required Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in residential or multi-family renovations or construction.
· High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, Sage, Procore or equivalent).
· Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate on projects.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to travel 25%, flexible as workload’s dictate. May include weekdays, weekends and or holidays.
Live in DFW metroplex - this is an ONSITE position
