Overseeing multiple construction and engineering partners to ensure alignment with project objectives. The successful candidate will act as the client’s representative, ensuring that all contractors and suppliers are managed effectively to deliver against agreed scope, schedule, and budget. The Project Controls Manager will lead the implementation of robust project control systems to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role covers cost management, earned value management, scheduling, risk management, and performance reporting, acting as a key link between project leadership, delivery teams, and stakeholders. Role accountabilities: Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost baselines. Monitoring progress against milestones, proactively identifying risks, and driving corrective actions where required (Primavera P6 / MS Project). Identify and mitigate project risks; maintain risk registers. Prepare monthly reports and dashboards, including Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics. Facilitate monthly reporting process, fostering team collaboration to meet deadlines. Manage scope changes and contract variations in line with the contract. Enforcing adherence to established governance frameworks, reporting standards, and quality assurance processes. Acting as the primary interface between the client and delivery teams, ensuring transparent communication and issue resolution. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and adherence to governance. Mentor and develop junior project controls staff. Qualifications & Experience: Strong understanding of project controls principles (EVM, cost control, scheduling, EVM change management). Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Key Competencies Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline. Professional certifications (APM, PMP, or equivalent) desirable.
