Profee Cardiovascular Coding Specialist (Remote - US)

Accountabilities:

• Review cardiovascular medical records and assign accurate codes according to current coding guidelines.
• Ensure coding accuracy and productivity targets are met or exceeded.
• Collaborate with managers and fellow coders to address client needs and maintain coding standards.
• Maintain and update coding certifications through continuing education and professional development.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and assist in resolving coding-related issues.

Requirements

• Current coding credentials: CCS, RHIA, RHIT through AHIMA, or CPC through AAPC.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cardiovascular coding.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for virtual team interactions.
• Access to high-speed internet and a suitable workstation; Epic system experience is a plus.
• Must reside within the United States.
