Production Shift Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Production Shift Manager at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. A Production Shift Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of Production, and the wider team including Team Leaders and Planners, Supervisors, and Operatives. They will ensure that the product is packed in line with the customer’s requirements and the data flow through ERP systems is inputted in a timely and accurate manner. Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern, working 6am to 6pm Responsibilities Manage and oversee the production operations during your shift, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules. Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve production goals while fostering a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations Monitor production metrics and make necessary adjustments to optimize processes and enhance productivity. Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback and performance analysis. Proven experience in a managerial role within a production or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of production processes, quality assurance, and health & safety compliance. Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams. Analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities to identify operational improvements. Effective communication skills for engaging with team members and management alike. Ability to work flexibly, adapting to the demands of a dynamic production environment.
