Production Operative

A a well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Production Operative to support the safe and efficient output of high-quality products. This role plays an important part in maintaining production standards, contributing to continuous improvement activities, and supporting day-to-day factory operations across a rotating shift pattern. Production Operative Permanent, Full-time 3 shifts (mornings + afternoons + nights): £32,800 Nottingham (On-site) Shift Pattern & Pay: Weekly rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 (mornings), 14:00–22:00 (afternoons), 22:00–06:00 (nights) Production Operative Responsibilities: * Follow all site safety rules, policies and legal requirements (including COSHH and Health & Safety at Work Act). * Maintain compliance with BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN 9100 standards. * Operate production equipment efficiently while reducing waste and cost. * Support ongoing improvements to products, processes, and procedures. * Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness, orderliness, and equipment care. * Assist with general factory duties across the site & contribute to site security as required. * Participate in all training provided by the company. * Support Team Leaders and colleagues to ensure smooth shift operations. Production Operative Requirements: * Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment (ideal but not essential). * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Basic numeracy & computer literacy skills. * Able to work effectively in a team and independently once trained.
