Role Overview The Product Costing Support provides operational support to ensure accurate product costing, maintain pricing databases, and assist with costing reviews. This role works closely with the Pricing Specialist and R&D and Manufacturing teams to ensure data integrity and efficient processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare draft manufacturing supply prices for products, gifts, collaborations, and other new concepts as they occur. Calculate labour estimates, material costs, packaging costs, and apply correct overhead rates. Maintain key databases: Average packaging costs by type and size Average depletion weights by category Offline cost sets reflecting updates since budget approval Assisting the Pricing Specialist in analysis of variances from draft costings to final costings, highlighting discrepancies and improvement opportunities. Assist the Pricing Specialist in revisiting final costings, comparing against current labour & material costs. Support ad-hoc queries from global manufacturing pricing teams. Update and maintain all working files in accordance with changes to the overall pricing model as and when required. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong numerical and analytical skills. Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple datasets and processes accurately. Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams. Basic understanding of pricing strategy and cost management. Effective communication skills for reporting and internal collaboration. Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
