About the role.

This role will be functional lead for enabling processes within our facility and will be instrumental in leading the formula recipe management work stream, and be aligned to both Engineering and production teams.

What you’ll be doing.

• Collaborating with Safety, Health and Quality staff to ensure sites manufacturing processes are safely designed, audited and operated in accordance with policies and procedures
• Develop process control implementation packages for global roll out of formula recipe management.
• Functional lead for process optimization using statistical data.  This includes performing design of experiments on the production line and the development of functional process control models.
• Leading and participating in audits for efficiency, safety, environmental, quality and food safety on a regular basis
• Leading the training efforts in the application of statistical methods in Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Liaison between corporate engineering team and plant management to ensure efficient hand over of “large scale” capital projects.
• Manage small scale capital projects from budgeting to commissioning process on new equipment purchases.
• On-site Requirement - Must perform duties onsite. Some travel may be required.
• Other projects/duties as assigned or needed.

What you’ll need to be successful.

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equal work experience is required..
• Shall have strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, along with excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential. 
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Programs, including Microsoft Project and exposure to SAP is an asset.

Compensation Package: $85,500.00 - $114,000.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility 

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
