Overview Privacy Manager – Remote The Privacy Manager will support the various elements of OSI Systems, Inc.’s (OSI’s) Privacy Program. This position will be primarily remote and will report to the Corporate Compliance Director, based in the UK. Although the role is largely remote, the Privacy Manager may be required to travel to various offices on a periodic basis for specific meetings, events, and investigations. Responsibilities Ensure OSI’s compliance program is consistent with applicable privacy laws, industry standards, policies and regulations applicable across all OSI divisions (Security, Medical, and Optoelectronics). As a subject matter expert, provide prompt and accurate privacy compliance advice to stakeholders across all OSI divisions globally. Act as the first point of contact for privacy-related matters, which includes supporting stakeholders with the resolution of potential privacy incidents. Drive ongoing privacy compliance activities within the OSI Divisions and across other corporate functions. This includes undertaking privacy assessments, such as DPIAs, with stakeholders, designing privacy compliance policies, supporting IT Security and Data Flows, frameworks and controls, and undertaking visits to OSI facilities and delivering training. Support of new product privacy compliance assessments. Support of Data Inventory and Data Minimization Audits. Drafting, negotiation and review of Data Processing Agreements. Proactively monitor industry best practice, rules, and regulations and guidance to help OSI maintain compliance and strategic alignment Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork. Qualifications At least 5 years of previous privacy experience in a legal or compliance-related role within a global company. Bachelor’s Degree or relevant industry experience, and appropriate privacy-related qualifications. Strong knowledge of privacy and data protection laws, including the EU GDPR and local laws and regulations within the EMEA region. Prior experience in working with multiple stakeholders regionally or globally. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience implementing and monitoring privacy related policies and procedures. Proficiency in additional languages would be an asset (including German, Italian, or Spanish).
