Principal Earthing Design Engineer

Have a BSc/BEng/ BEng (Hons) or MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Achieved Chartered or Incorporated Engineer professional status, or equivalent or working towards this. Have previous relevant experience including supervision of elements of large, complex projects. Working knowledge of earthing system measurements. Substantial experience in earthing system analysis using the software package CDEGS. Suitable experience of earthing issues and standards associated with power networks up to 400 kV. Ability to communicate complex technical or commercial issues to peers or senior managers. Ability to develop working relationships quickly and effectively. Experience in writing clear and concise documentation. Flexibility to travel both in the UK and overseas.
