Location Details:

Initial assignment will be to Galway University Hospital and Roscommon University Hospital

There will be a number of 2-year graduate rotation programme places available in Galway University Hospitals. Areas covered on the graduate rotation programme in the first year will be Acute Surgical wards such as Urology/orthopaedic and Gastroenterology; Medical wards such as cardiology/stroke and respiratory. During the 2nd year there will be an opportunity to rotate between areas including HDU, Paediatric & Emergency Departments (6 months in 2 out of the 3 areas depending on number of places available). At the end of 2 years you will be supported to undertake the related level 9 postgraduate programme of your choice and the area you wish to work in. Please indicate on your cover letter/CV if you would be interested in the graduate rotation programme.

The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.
