About the Role:

As a Power Platform Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing Power Platform solutions — building innovative applications and automations that improve business efficiency and data management. This is an opportunity to take ownership of existing business-built apps, modernise them, and create new enterprise-grade solutions that adhere to best practices and governance standards.

Working alongside business stakeholders, developers, and data specialists, you’ll use your technical expertise and creativity to solve challenges, streamline processes, and deliver tangible impact across high-profile energy projects.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role that offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work within a forward-thinking digital solutions team at the heart of the energy transition.

As a Power Platform Developer, you will:

• Design, build, and implement Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Dataverse.
• Support, enhance, and operationalise existing Power Platform solutions across business areas.
• Take ownership of business-built apps, refactor them to align with Sword’s Power Platform governance and best practices.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft products (SharePoint, Power BI) and external APIs.
• Configure and manage deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps, supporting full Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes.
• Collaborate with Power BI Developers to embed analytics into Power Apps.
• Prepare technical documentation and deliver solution handovers to support teams.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, architect scalable solutions, and deliver on commitments.
• Provide mentoring and knowledge-sharing across the team, contributing to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Microsoft Dataverse.

• Strong understanding of enterprise-level Power Platform delivery and governance.
• Ability to design intuitive user interfaces and workflows that align with user and business needs.
• Experience integrating Power BI content into Power Apps.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and working with APIs.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable

• Experience with SharePoint site administration and Sharegate migrations.
• Background in Information Management or Data Services.
• Familiarity with Assai Document Management Systems.
