For more information visit www.pxlimited.com Teesside Gas Processing Plant (TGPP) is an independently owned gas processing facility located in the northeast of England. TGPP is a highly efficient and flexible gas processing plant which has, since construction, been operated and managed to world class standards by the same highly motivated and proficient team. The Opportunity We are now recruiting for a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager will be an operationally focused leader delivering a high performing asset across the core deliverables of safety, availability and cost management. In close collaboration with the MD of Midstream this will be delivered in a client-focused manner for NSMP aligning the asset delivery, priorities and results with the client’s strategic and near term objectives whilst maintaining px’s world class duty holder performance You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence. Key Responsibilities Leading safe and efficient delivery of the COMAH site and associated pipelines with full ownership of the safety, reliability, regulatory compliance and budget performance of TGPP. Optimisation of the asset business support functions ensuring central functions are supported in, and deliver, high levels of service, facilitating the operation of TGPP at the level expected by px and client. Delivering site leadership to the highest standards and in line with the px and NSMP values and strategy. Leadership, management, development and mentoring of site leadership team ensuring performance meets expectations and potential is developed. Lead union engagement representing px and the client in all union negotiations. Developing, implementing and delivering continuous improvement programmes within the asset and actively supporting cross asset or corporate initiatives. Representing the client’s interests within the supply chain and local community. Minimum Requirements Hold a degree in an appropriate management/ engineering degree or appropriate Business or Engineering qualification Have experience in the oil and gas or other related major hazard industries is a must. Have experience in management of energy related and / or oil and gas assets Operated at senior management level in the same or equivalent industries Must think at a strategic level whilst when necessary, able to bridge the strategic to tactical, grasping the details involved in managing day to day performance and aligning to the strategic outcomes required of the Teesside Gas Plant.
