Physical Therapy Aide Front & Back Office

Benefits: Bonus based on performance Employee discounts Health insurance Training & development Health Atlast West L.A. is seeking a reliable, professional Physical Therapy Aide to support both front-office operations and back-office patient care in a fast-paced, multi-specialty medical environment. This role is hands-on, patient-facing, and operationally critical. This is not a passive role—attention to detail, accountability, and strong communication are mandatory. Core Responsibilities Front Office Duties Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently Confirm appointments and perform reminder calls/texts Assist with intake paperwork and ensure completion Answer basic patient questions and route clinical questions appropriately Maintain front desk flow and uphold professional patient experience standards Back Office / Clinical Support Assist providers during patient visits as directed Work with patients on prescribed exercises and modalities (under provider supervision) Escort patients, set up treatment rooms, and prepare equipment Ensure rooms are clean, stocked, and turned over between patients Assist with laundry, linens, and overall clinic cleanliness Maintain compliance with clinic protocols, safety standards, and workflows Required Qualifications Prior experience as a PT Aide, Rehab Aide, or Medical Assistant preferred Comfortable working both front and back office—no silos Strong communication and patient-interaction skills Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask under pressure Able to follow clinical instructions precisely Professional demeanor with patients and staff Must live reasonably close to West Los Angeles (reliability matters) Preferred (Not Required) Experience in a multi-specialty clinic (PT, Chiro, Medical, Acupuncture) Familiarity with EHR systems and medical office workflows Interest in healthcare, rehabilitation, or physical therapy career path Work Environment Fast-paced, structured, performance-driven Team-based, high accountability Patient-centered, ethical, non-drug-focused care model What This Role Is Not Not a desk-only job Not a “clock-in, clock-out” mentality Not suitable for someone uncomfortable with patient interaction or physical activity How to Apply Qualified candidates should apply with a resume and brief explanation of: Relevant experience Availability Why they are a good fit for a multi-specialty healthcare setting
