This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic person to be part of the Pensions Team at Leicestershire County Council, to develop new skills and learn about the Local Government Pension Scheme. No experience necessary as full training will be given. About the Role You will be given a wide range of tasks to do, that will contribute to the work of your team. Training will be given ‘on the job’ to enable you to understand how we work. Your duties will include: Assist with keeping up to date records for all scheme members Setting up work tasks for your team Help with ‘year-end’ work, updating records with the latest information Assist with the administration of team checking spreadsheets Collate uploaded documents in preparation for indexing to records The apprenticeship will also include studying for a Level 3 Pensions Administrator standard. Each week time will be allocated for training and learning, to allow you to complete all aspects of your apprenticeship. About You To apply for this post, you must have: 4 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English (grades A* to C or 9- 4) Skills to use Word or Excel (or equivalent) The ability to compose clear and concise correspondence Knowledge of the importance of confidentiality and sensitive information You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
