Pension Officer | 9245 | Permanent Contract x 1, Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2026 x 2 | 37 hours per week | £26,403 to £28,142 per annum (Scale E) | County Hall, Norwich Are you passionate about delivering high-quality pension administration and customer service? Norfolk County Council is seeking dedicated Pension Officers to join our Finance and Exchequer Services team. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely administration of payroll and pension systems for Norfolk County Council, schools, fire services, NHS, academies, and other external customers. What You’ll Do Provide professional pension administration services to internal and external customers, ensuring all deadlines and service standards are met. Deliver high-quality pension support, including data input, documentation, and correspondence in line with statutory requirements and council policies. Communicate effectively with members and customers, resolving pension queries and issues. Accurately input and manage data in Payroll and Pension IT systems (including Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Tools, Teachers Pension Online, and Norfolk Pension Fund). Support data cleansing, error correction, and compliance with all relevant legislation (employment, tax, minimum wage, pension regulations, and data protection).
