Location: Various locations across Alberta Pathologists are physicians who specialize in diagnosing diseases by examining tissues, organs, and bodily fluids. They play a crucial role in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. Key Responsibilities: Analyze tissue samples and laboratory results to diagnose diseases. Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop treatment plans. Conduct autopsies and provide insights into causes of death. Stay updated on advances in pathology and diagnostic techniques. Communicate findings effectively to physicians and other stakeholders. Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of a pathology residency. Board certification in pathology. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
