The Partnership Governance Manager will own the frameworks, processes, and oversight needed to manage third party and transactional banking relationships at scale within Client Connectivity across transaction banking (GPS, GTS, and MSS). We are looking for a conscientious and dynamic person to join this team in the role of Partnerships Governance Manager. You will act as the link between partners, frontline teams, technology, risk, operational teams and procurement, ensuring that all partnerships are structured, monitored, and governed in line with regulatory standards, contractual obligations, and strategic priorities. This role is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on structure, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Designing and maintaining governance models, operating principles, and reporting processes for all Connected Banking partnerships. Working closely with risk to ensure partner agreements and activities meet regulatory and contractual requirements. Acting as the central coordination point for key partners, managing regular governance forums, escalations, and joint reviews. Supporting negotiations and on-going management of contractual obligations, SLA’s, and commercial arrangements. Partnering with risk, frontline teams, product, operational teams and technology to align governance and roadmap delivery and partner on-boarding. Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve transparency in partner management. Taking responsibility for capability governance including periodic reviews, financial performance (revenue and cost management) and managing closure of functional and non-functional risks/issues impacting the capability performance or operational efficiency. To be successful in this role you should have: Knowledge and experience of Connected Banking. Strong knowledge/ experience in Payments and Cash Management and/or Digital Channels. Experience in partnership management, vendor governance, or third-party risk management (preferably in transactional banking, fintech, or financial services). Excellent relationship management experience with external partners and internal stakeholders. Experience of an Agile/Scaled agile delivery environment and understanding the roles of the agile delivery team. Excellent communication ability, written and verbal, to explain complex ideas simply in client centric language, including data requirements.
