Key responsibilities include: * Conducting care supervision visits in clients’ homes * Completing risk assessments to ensure safe working environments * Maintaining accurate supervision and compliance records * Participating in care activities as part of the supervision process * Supporting, mentoring and supervising care staff to deliver best-practice care * Using a person-centred approach in all aspects of care delivery * Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care plans QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE * QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) * QQI Level 6 in Supervision (or equivalent) * Minimum 1 year’s experience working as a Care Assistant * Previous supervisory experience desirable (home care experience an advantage, but not essential) * Strong computer and administrative skills desirable * Access to transport is essential ABOUT YOU You’re someone who: * Communicates confidently and compassionately with clients, carers and professionals * Can support and motivate a team working across a wide geographical area * Is organised, accountable and comfortable working independently * Truly cares about people – both those receiving care and those delivering it CH5
