Paralegal – Asset Management Accuflex is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join a leading British multinational asset management company headquartered in London. This is a 12-month placement in which the successful candidate will be employed by Accuflex and seconded to the client under a fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious organisation and work alongside a highly collaborative Funds & Distribution legal team supporting UK, European and global business functions. Key Responsibilities You will support the Funds & Distribution side of the legal team on a range of commercial and regulatory matters, including: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts Assisting with distribution/intermediary agreements, rebate letters, platform agreements and NDAs Supporting cross-border fund marketing and regulatory compliance (e.g., AIFMD, UCITS, FSMA) Liaising with stakeholders across UK and European business units, including Luxembourg teams Contributing to internal templates, know-how, and process improvements Assisting with general legal queries and identifying issues for escalation Essential Experience Strong commercial contracts experience (drafting, reviewing, negotiating) Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills Proactive, collaborative working style and willingness to ask questions Preferred Experience Exposure to funds/intermediary agreements Asset management or broader financial services experience Prior in-house experience Understanding of UCITS, AIFMD and related regulatory frameworks Team & Culture You will join a well-established, supportive legal team comprising senior and junior lawyers, with close collaboration across the UK and Europe, particularly Luxembourg.
