Key Responsibilities To provide a high standard of wellbeing care and first aid to students whilst on the college site. This support is designed to meet a wide range of day-to-day needs, from meeting the physical needs of some students and the administration of first aid, to guiding pupils who might need wellbeing support (providing a kind, listening, holistic service to all students), whilst respecting individuality and confidentiality. Provide responsive first-aid care for students experiencing physical, mental or emotional health concerns. Support the whole college approach to the promotion of healthy lifestyles for students and staff. Implement and maintain arrangements for maintenance of records, accident reporting arrangements, statutory notices and First Aid boxes. Work with parents, carers, specialist health professionals and others to develop, implement and monitor in-college care plans for students with complex health needs and long-term conditions (eg asthma, diabetes, epilepsy etc) to enable them to attend and benefit from college.
