We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Non-Genetic Product Line Manager to lead the development, marketing, and performance of a global non-genetic product portfolio for dairy and beef customers. This role will oversee the full product lifecycle, from market research and strategy development to commercialization and P&L management. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide commercial initiatives, and leverage data-driven insights to maximize product value. This position offers the opportunity to drive innovation, influence global product strategies, and play a pivotal role in shaping long-term business growth while operating in a dynamic, international environment.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the development, execution, and management of non-genetic product strategies to maximize long-term profitability.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure products meet customer needs and market standards.
- Provide guidance on global pricing, product positioning, and market access strategies.
- Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitor research to inform strategic decision-making.
- Partner with marketing to design global campaigns that increase market penetration and lead generation.
- Create and deliver commercial training materials to support product knowledge and sales enablement.
- Own the P&L for each product in the non-genetic portfolio and drive financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Animal Science, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management, preferably within dairy, beef, or broader food/agriculture industries.
- Track record of successfully managing a product line, including product development, marketing, and sales.
- Strong knowledge of industry market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, pricing strategies, and P&L management.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to drive strategic decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20%).
- Excellent English speaking and business writing skills.
