The Opportunity
Shape the future of sustainable buildings in Vancouver. As a Mechanical Engineer in our Buildings group, you’ll contribute to projects that define tomorrow’s communities—delivering innovative HVAC, plumbing, and energy-efficient systems for commercial, institutional, and residential developments.
Your Impact
- Design mechanical systems that enhance building performance and occupant comfort.
- Deliver energy-efficient solutions aligned with sustainability goals and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly.
- Apply advanced modeling tools to optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and environmental impact.
- Support construction phases with technical expertise and problem-solving to ensure successful delivery.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and eligibility for registration with EGBC.
- 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design for buildings (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with BC Building Code and sustainable design practices.

Compensation
Salary range (in British Columbia): $71,500 to $98,300
