Materials Handler - Day Time

Your Role: We have an exciting new Material Handler 1 position available within the Supply Chain Department at our Glasgow site. In this role you will work closely with the wider Supply Chain team to maintain traceability for both testing samples and purchased inventory. This will include working in controlled temperature environments, manual handling, labelling and inspection of materials in strict compliance with GxP. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain line management you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently Manage Test Material: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of all client product and raw material, ensuring seamless coordination with our operational departments in compliance with GLP/GMP standards. Safety First: Handle inventory safely and responsibly, maintaining a secure environment for all materials. Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain precise system records (Oracle/ERP/LIMS) for all transactions, ensuring accuracy and accountability in our inventory management. Proactive Planning: Plan and prioritise tasks to meet procedural requirements, ensuring operational efficiency and maintain individual effectiveness on a daily basis. Who You Are: 2+ Years experience working in a warehouse or stock control environment is expected or 1+ Year in a sample testing laboratory is beneficial . Must have experience of using electronic systems for record keeping/data entry. Previous experience in a regulated environment (GLP/GMP) is advantageous. Ability to complete documentation (both handwritten and electronic) neatly and accurately Working knowledge of electronic databases such as LIMS, SAP, or equivalent beneficial.
