Mass Tort Case Manager/Paralegal

We are a busy, fast-paced Law firm in need of a full-time Mass Tort Case Manager/Paralegal in our office.

This position supports the Mass Tort department and works with the department's attorneys and paralegals ensuring that all required records are obtained including and gathering client's medical information. You will also assist attorney in determining proof of use and proof of injury.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily case management
• Client communication via phone and email
• Inputting and managing client data and electronic case files
• Managing new case intakes
• Draft and file basic legal documents and correspondence
• Other administrative tasks such as mailings and faxes, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Advanced customer service skills
• Paralegal with mass tort or medical malpractice experience preferred
• Must possess strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail
• Must have the ability to handle competing court deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Poise under pressure in a fast-paced office
• Accurate typing speed of 45 wpm required
• Spanish fluency a plus

Education:

• Associates Degree or Paralegal Certificate
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year (DOE)
