The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is an information sharing hub that both physically and virtually co-locates key professionals to facilitate early, better quality information sharing, analysis and decision making to more effectively safeguard vulnerable children, young people and adults. In Norfolk, our MASH has been placed at the ‘Front Door’ of our safeguarding service with the intention of maximising the information gathering, analysis and decision-making process at the earliest point of contact with a vulnerable child or adult and their family to enable them to receive support from the right agencies at the right time. About the role: The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Coordinator plays a key role within the Children’s Advice and Duty Team, based in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. The post holder is responsible for supporting social workers and safeguarding professionals by gathering, recording, and disseminating critical information to ensure the effective protection of children. We are seeking people with experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and/or multi-agency working with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field. What we want from you Strong administrative and IT skills, including accurate data entry and report writing using case management systems. Ability to assess risk, prioritise caseloads, and support decision-making in a fast-paced, confidential setting. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with families, professionals, and partner agencies. Sound understanding of safeguarding procedures, data protection, and relevant legislation. Resilience and professionalism when handling sensitive information and emotionally challenging conversations. Please note, this role is working onsite at County Hall- there is no hybrid working and you must be prepared to work 9am to 5pm in the office every day.
