This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Sr. Analyst, IT Financial Systems in the United States.

This role is ideal for a technology and finance professional who will oversee and enhance IT financial systems while supporting financial operations and reporting across the organization. The position combines business analysis, technical leadership, and project management to ensure accurate financial records, efficient system processes, and timely resolution of system-related financial issues. You will work closely with technical teams, business users, and vendors, contributing to system improvements, documentation, testing, and the implementation of Agile methodologies. The role also provides opportunities to assist with reconciliations, month-end closings, audits, and other finance-related IT initiatives in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with business users to elicit and document requirements for new IT financial system functionality.
  • Work with technical teams to assess feasibility and contribute to the product roadmap to meet future organizational needs.
  • Create and maintain technical and business documentation, training materials, and test plans.
  • Provide technical guidance to development staff and vendors, ensuring IT financial systems are accurate, secure, and compliant.
  • Support month-end closings, audits, reconciliations, and financial casework as it relates to IT-managed systems.
  • Act as a project manager for finance-related IT initiatives and assist in Agile delivery processes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of senior-level accounting or related finance experience; nonprofit or volunteer-based organization experience is a plus.
  • Functional knowledge of IT financial systems and ability to provide guidance to end-users and support personnel.
  • Technical writing and documentation skills, including preparation of specifications and test plans.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP) and experience applying them within financial systems.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite OneWorld, Salesforce, Abila MIP, or similar) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field; certifications in NetSuite or Salesforce administration are a plus.
