We are searching for a Maintenance Technician - Liquids to support equipment reliability, optimize production line performance, and ensure smooth manufacturing operations within a high-volume environment. In this role, you will take ownership of preventive maintenance routines, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime. You will collaborate closely with operators and cross-functional teams while applying technical expertise to maintain high standards of safety and productivity. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, proactive technician who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced, process-driven setting.

Accountabilities

  • Perform preventive and condition-based maintenance on production equipment according to OEM standards.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, support line improvements, and guide corrective actions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of equipment operation principles across assigned areas.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of centerline standards and maintenance systems.
  • Document all work within the maintenance management system following established best practices.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, plant initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to operators, helping them perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Recommend appropriate spare part stocking levels and support a strong, positive team culture.
  • Complete additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Two-year technical degree in industrial maintenance with 2–3 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical skills with basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with PLCs such as Allen Bradley.
  • Experience with packaging, conveyance, and liquid or powder processing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS tools, production workflows, and control systems.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of equipment and processes.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, and extended hours when needed.
  • Comfortable using computers for documentation, system navigation, and troubleshooting.
  • Physically able to perform climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, standing, and other essential job functions.
  • Food or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.
