Maintenance Operations Intern

We are in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Operations Intern to support our Maintenance Spares & Project Specialist. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn about operational processes, maintenance workflows, spare-parts management, and cross-team coordination in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with day-to-day operational tasks, help maintain accurate data, support ongoing projects, and ensure smooth communication between field technicians, operations, engineering, and logistics teams. What you’ll be doing: Help track incoming/outgoing spare parts, maintain inventory records, and prepare parts kits for technicians; Participate in identifying spare-parts shortages, delays, or inventory issues; Help collect technician reports and parts usage data, ensuring proper documentation quality; Assist in updating maintenance dashboards, trackers, and performing basic data analysis; Help with daily communication and follow-ups with field technicians; Participate in cross-functional coordination and support improvements to workflows and operational processes; Assist in technical and operational projects, supporting task tracking, documentation, material readiness, and testing new tools/workflows. What you’ll bring to the table: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams; Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and/or Airtable (or willingness to learn quickly); High motivation to learn about maintenance operations, logistics, and process optimization; Problem-solver mindset and proactive attitude. It would be great if you would also have: Background in engineering, logistics, operations, or a related field; Familiarity with maintenance or inventory management tools; Interest in technical troubleshooting or hardware operations.
