Maintenance General Operative / Saothraí

• Ensure good practice and compliance processes are followed

• Safely undertake out tasks set by the Facilities Manager or nominated deputy

• Ensure the completion of tasks in a timely manner

• Communicate effectively with the Facilities Manager and Team.

• Operate Compactor Machine and be responsible for its general maintenance, including fuel/oil refill.

• Operate Skip Packer and be responsible for its general maintenance.

• Operate other Plant Machinery that may be required at SIVUH; e.g.: Excavators, Personnel Lifts and other Access Platform Equipment.

• Carry out general maintenance tasks submitted through the Online Maintenance System at the request of the Facilities Manager.

• Operate tools, small plant & equipment/machinery.

• Carry out general maintenance on the hospital Garden/Grounds when requested.
