MACP Practicum

Are you a MACP student looking to gain valuable clinical experiences in mental health counselling? Responsibilities Assist in conducting client assessments and developing treatment plans. Participate in individual and/or group counselling sessions Document client progress Attend team meeting for case discussions, sharing insights, and/or observations. Assist in conducting client assessments and developing treatment plans. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards. Qualifications Enrollment in or completion of a Master’s degree program in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with CRPO is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic understanding of mental health concepts and therapeutic techniques Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative. Job Type: Internship / Co-op Contract length: 8 months Work Location: Remote Currently enrolled in MACP program Individuals residing in Ontario: Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with CRPO is required.
