In this pivotal role, you’ll shape the future of our International Marketplace operations, ensuring seamless delivery of Fashion, Home, and Beauty orders fulfilled through our global warehouse network. Your primary focus will be to take ownership of freight coordination and reporting processes, driving efficiency and excellence across our international supply chain. NB: Although this role is based at our Paddington Support Office a minimum of three days a week some overseas travel will be required to either within the UK or internationally. What you’ll do Your key accountabilities will include: Take ownership for securing and co-ordinating Marketplace freight in line with business requirements and forecasts. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with both M&S and Marketplace Service level Agreements (SLA’s) Managing the fulfilment of stock from within the M&S network, via our hubs, to our Marketplace partners Own Logistics Marketplace reporting, taking full accountability to ensure reporting accuracy and developing new suite of reports to meet the growing needs of the business Forecasting: Working closely with the Inbound & Commercial teams to build out clear visibility of future Marketplace volume for improved budget, resource, freight and fulfilment to our Marketplace partners. Operational management of our freight providers, building strong relationships to ensure optimum routes to market, monitoring and challenging KPIs, to ensure high service levels while ensuring logistics costs are within budget Who you are Your skills and experience will include: Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, with strong expertise in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and International Logistics processes, including experience managing freight, fulfilment, and operational workflows for online Marketplaces across multiple regions Highly analytical and numerate, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify root causes of issues, and develop practical, data-driven solutions to improve logistics performance and efficiency Commercial and financial acumen to manage budgets and optimise cost efficiency Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams What’s in it for you?
