- Client Overview: The Coalition is a Microsoft first -party development studio located in Vancouver, Canada. As the official home of the Gears of War franchise, they aim to push the limits of Microsoft's entertainment platforms and devices. <\/div>
- Role Summary: As a Mid -Level Level Artist, you will partner with various teams to bring the artistic vision to life by creating visually stunning and high -quality levels. You will collaborate with the Level Design Team, other artists, and follow the guidance of art direction to meet the studio's goals. <\/div>

- Uphold the values of The Coalition Art Team and contribute to a positive and inclusive culture. <\/div>
- Produce high -quality artwork and stay updated with current level art creation workflows and industry trends. <\/div>
- Collaborate with Art Leads and Level Art team members to achieve the artistic vision and maintain visual quality and consistency. <\/div>
- Work closely with the Level Design Team to solve art and design challenges and ensure levels are playable and performant. <\/div>
- Provide detailed breakout sheets and communicate environment set requirements to the Environment Art Team. <\/div>
- Communicate dependencies, blockers, and cross -department challenges to the Production Team and Art Leads. <\/div>

5. What experience are we looking for to drive success?<\/b> <\/b><\/div>
- MUST -Have Skills and Qualifications: <\/div>
- A portfolio showcasing high -quality environment and level artwork. <\/div>
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environment/level art with at least one shipped title. <\/div>
- Strong time management skills and ability to work well with deadlines. <\/div>
- Proficiency in level creation methods using Unreal Engine or a similar game engine. <\/div>
- Strong working knowledge of Maya (preferred) or similar 3D modeling software, Substance, Photoshop, and ZBrush. <\/div>

- Experience with modular kit, Unreal, and environment art. <\/div>
- Familiarity with console games and AAA game development. <\/div>
