💼 Legal Accounts Assistant – Preston Part Time | Monday to Friday (hours to be agreed) Reports to: Finance Team Leader Are you detail-oriented and great with numbers? Join our friendly Finance Team at Napthens LLP, a leading regional law firm known for its professional excellence and people-first approach. As a Legal Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our Finance Department, handling a range of treasury and matter management duties while ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules. What You’ll Do Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations across client and office accounts. Process incoming and outgoing payments, including BACS, disbursements, standing orders, and international transfers. Assist with daily banking, bills, credit notes, write-offs, and client-to-office transfers. Respond to finance queries promptly via the Finance Helpdesk, maintaining a high level of service. Keep accurate financial records and support the team with ad hoc finance and treasury tasks as needed. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a legal accounts, finance, treasury, or bookkeeping role. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A willingness to develop an understanding of SRA Accounts Rules (training provided).
