DescriptionPurpose of Position :
For our office in Rotterdam, we are looking for a experienced and motivated Key Account Manager Biopolymers to join our team! You will built and manage sustainable client relationships to optimize results for the biopolymers business, expand client base and develop long term supply agreements in order to support the long term growth of the business.

Key Accountabilities: |

Ensure :
- Long term sustainable relationship with key clients
- Optimization of commercial results with your client base
- Long term agreements with key clients to support future growth projects
- Development op potential new clients base to support future growth projects
|
|
Carry out :
- Sales of I’m green biobased PE & EVA in various market segments and industries in Europe, with a focus on flexible packaging for food
- Execution of the sales strategy
- Implementation of the sales targets
- Processing of offers and inquiries
- Contract negotiations
- Preparation of price statements and price negotiations
- Preparation of monthly and yearly forecast for the customers
- Preparation and execution of product presentations by customers
- Interface between the customer and other departments of the company, e.g. Supply chain, customer service CSR, financial accounting, marketing, etc.
- First contact person for the customers
- Analysis of markets and trends
- Research and development of new business opportunities for existing customers and acquisition of new customers
- Cost and profitability analysis and budget planning
- Coordination of projects in close collaboration with other specialist areas
- Acquire and apply the basic knowledge of the Integrated Management System (IMS)

Technical / Management Knowledge
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) or other, industry-, commercial-oriented education
- ~10 years working experience with several years in international sales, ideally of Polyolefins in flexible packaging applications
- Experience in polymers or specialty sales
- Experience in value selling
- Proven sales track record
- Excellent communications skills. Fluent in English and preferably also in German
- Good presentation skills
- Willingness to travel frequently
- A technical background is a pro but not a must
