Reporting to the Service Manager, the K9 Technician will be responsible for providing inspections and treatments to a variety of businesses ranging from long-term care facilities, residential homes, apartment complexes, office buildings, manufacturing plants, and warehouses. This role is a blend of K9 bed bug detection and general pest control services. You will also be assigned a route, as well as build new business through sales. High commissions are paid on new business, and bonus money is paid each month on service work completed.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Service Manager, the K9 Technician will be responsible for:
- Working with a professionally trained dog to detect bed bug activity
- Inspecting establishments for bed bug infestation and providing solutions to customers
- Performing general pest control inspections and treatments in addition to K9 services
- Educating clients about bed bug prevention and general pest control solutions
- Generating sales and achieving monthly targets through new business

Requirements:
- A Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Customer service experience
- Willingness to obtain your Applicator's License
- Ability to care for and/or work with a dog
- Sales experience an asset
