This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Java Full Stack Lead/Architect (React, Node) in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and architect full-stack Java applications, guiding projects from design through deployment while ensuring scalable, high-performance solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define application objectives, implement business-driven functionality, and maintain best practices in code quality and testing. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as React, Node, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud platforms. As a technical leader, you will mentor teams, resolve complex development challenges, and contribute to shaping the architecture and standards of enterprise-level digital solutions. This position combines hands-on development with strategic oversight, providing significant impact on digital transformation initiatives.

Accountabilities

  • Lead full-stack software development and architecture efforts for enterprise applications.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Develop front-end components and interfaces with React, AngularJS, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle including coding, unit testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with QA, App Support, and Business teams to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
  • Analyze user requirements to define application objectives and functionality.
  • Ensure architectural designs conform to business goals and scalability requirements.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices.
  • Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment workflows (Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, AWS).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in full-stack development and solution architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, React, Node, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, and cloud services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and orchestration.
  • Expertise in developing scalable, high-performance applications and resolving technical challenges.
  • Knowledge of software analysis, programming, testing, debugging, and production support.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, user story grooming, and collaborative project management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and interacting with stakeholders.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Loopback, AWS services, or enterprise-scale cloud deployment.
  • Prior involvement in digital transformation initiatives or consulting environments.
