The IT Director, Enterprise Business Solutions, will work closely with the Head of Global Information Systems to scope, plan, execute and manage the IT Enterprise Solutions system landscape based on our dynamic operational model and digital transformation projects. This role will lead and drive agile system development, adoption of IT best practices, and drive the adoption of enterprise solutions that drive efficiency in business processes and reduce cost of operation.
This position is remote in Canada.
What you’ll be doing:
In partnership with the Head of Global Information Systems, set the technical direction for all Cronos Group software and systems, leading conceptualization and design architectural roadmaps for new and existing Cronos Group enterprise systems and solutions
Facilitator and catalyst to support continuous improvement, both as it relates to financial processes (e.g. reporting and analytical infrastructure) and business processes (e.g. Prospect-To-Order, Order-To-Cash and Purchase-To-Pay).
Interact with peers, direct reports, and other employees in a manner that reflects leadership, encourages open two-way communications, and contributes to exceptional employee relations throughout the Company.
Ensure the Enterprise Applications team attracts, develops, and retains the best people and fosters an environment that motivates the team to fully realize its capabilities in achieving desired business results. Creates detailed architecture diagrams to support large, complex, and cross-functional initiatives. Define, promote, and enforce standards in testing, monitoring, and architectural processes across the Information Systems teams
Provides subject matter expertise on all matters SAP related including but not limited to integrations, upgrades, maintaining system integration, documentation of all processes, problem solving system issues, etc..
Partner closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders on business development opportunities, gathering requirements, assessing resourcing and cost associated with technical work, providing potential solutions and determining key milestones
May lead a small system and applications team - recruit, retain, and engage top talent; foster a learning environment emphasizing innovative thinking, accountability, and collaboration through consistent coaching and development
You’ll need to have:
5+ years experience with Financial reporting systems for consolidation, budget, forecasting and financial reporting, OneStream Software background preferred.
Broad technology experience in application development, cloud architecture, databases, analytics, DevOps, management and monitoring
A knack for identifying and tackling “hard problems”, thinking creatively, and getting things done. You stay current on technology and are passionate about figuring out how to make processes, systems, functions, and experiences better
Sound decision making skills; can swiftly assess risks, analyze complex situations and determine next course of action
Adaptable and organized; capable of managing efforts and dynamically prioritizing multiple work-streams with a positive attitude
