  The OSEG Foundation is seeking a motivated and passionate student to support our upcoming Foundation initiatives and events. In this role, you will help support the OSEG Foundation’s mandate to leverage the power of sport to help children and youth develop critical life skills, improve their mental and physical wellbeing and reach their fullest potential.   Students who wish to participate in an internship opportunity with Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group must be a part of an accredited post-secondary program where fulfillment of internship credit is required for graduation.  * This internship is a four (4) month full-time position from September to December 2025. * Candidates must be enrolled in a post secondary education program offering class credits for the internship placement; this is an unpaid position.  What you’ll do: Program Support  * Support OSEG Foundation community impact programs and initiatives, assisting in the development and implementation of youth sport programming for marginalized communities in Ottawa; * Work alongside Foundation team to collaborate and ensure programs are delivered effectively;  * Support volunteer recruitment, management, and recognition;  * Organize and distribute site supplies to ensure all programs have resources to run successfully; * Conduct program evaluations and identify opportunities for program enhancements.  Event Management * Develop overall event plans and critical paths for signature events; * Coordinate logistics for events, including vendors and Event Production teams to ensure successful event execution;  * Communicate key event information with event guests, sponsors, donors, and speakers * Assist with the promotion and digital marketing of the event to increase media exposure and volunteer interest.  Communications * Help maintain, grow, and enhance content for OSEG Foundation web pages and social media to promote and increase exposure of signature programs and events;  * Capture and prepare social media content. What’s needed: * Enrolled in a post-secondary program related, but not limited, to Event Management, Communication/Marketing, Sports Management, Physical Education, Recreation and Leisure * Experience supporting youth recreation programs * Strong work ethic and positive attitude, with the ability and desire to work as part of a multifunctional team * A proactive nature and ability to adapt * Highly organized and attentive to detail * Great written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism * Demonstrate the values that align with the OSEG Foundation mission * Exceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint What’s in it for you: Aside from the ability to make a meaningful and powerful impact on the sports and entertainment industry in Ottawa, an internship at TD Place will provide you with a dynamic team environment and the ability to continuously learn and grow.
