To maintain safe working practices in specialist areas, ensure they are kept clean and tidy, and ensure equipment, classrooms and studios are equipped with relevant materials. To lead taught sessions with students where required, following plans of learning for the associated course. To seek professional advice and guidance on specific machinery and equipment from specialists, and maintain machines and equipment to ensure they are in safe working order. To organise and deliver efficient and effective assessing according to Awarding Body Standards in support of lecturing staff. To maintain learner assessment records in accordance with examining body requirements. Work with lecturers to provide learning resources that will include learning materials available on the College’s virtual learning environment, completed under the supervision of the designated lecturer or course leader.
