Installation Engineer

Intertek is currently participating in a major tender for FLNG project and in anticipation of a project award, we are seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join the team. The installation engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and integration of offshore systems and structures, adhering to both project specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage installation strategies, plans, and procedures for offshore projects. Collaborate closely with various departments to ascertain project requirements and deliverables. Oversee installation operations in the field, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards. Coordinate with third-party contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and effective project execution. Conduct risk assessments and modify plans as necessary to mitigate potential hazards. Provide technical support and guidance during installation activities and troubleshoot any challenges that arise. Maintain comprehensive documentation of installation processes and provide regular reports to project management. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Marine, Mechanical, Civil, or a related discipline). A minimum of 5 years of experience in installation engineering within the oil and gas industry. Strong knowledge of installation methodologies and offshore operations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools. Fluent in English; ability to communicate in additional languages is a plus. Contract duration: 1 to 3 years
