Infrastructure Engineer (Remote - US)

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure and network systems that support organizational operations. You will manage cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available solutions. The position offers the opportunity to lead technical projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Accountabilities

• Provision, install, configure, and maintain servers, network hardware, security devices, and cloud systems.
• Manage Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and availability.
• Respond to Tier-3 escalated Service Desk tickets within SLA and participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid connectivity.
• Conduct network and security audits, disaster recovery planning, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Lead infrastructure projects, coordinate planning across teams, and provide technical guidance and mentorship.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure Cloud, server engineering, or network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows servers, networking, firewalls, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Fundamentals, CCNP, Fortinet, Aruba, or CompTIA Network+.
