Description of Position
This is a mid-level position that requires previous IT experience. The candidate must have graduated from a Computer Technician, Networking and Cloud Technology program or similar. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, self-motivated to improve, collaborative by nature, and emotionally intelligent in their interactions. IT project experience is an asset. This position is hands-on with travel to and from client sites for final deploy setup. This role is at our Fonthill location. There is no hybrid or remote option for this role.

- Finally, communication and attention to detail - deploys is a many-stepped process and requires someone who will pay attention to ensure proper completion. You will be in constant contact with the client; therefore, strong written and verbal skills are essential for this role.
Job purpose
- Assisting clients with hardware, software and networking problems remotely and onsite as .
- Working through the entire project phase process to achieve the end goal proposed for the client's needs.
- Assist with identifying client hardware/software requirements and relaying that information back to B4 Networks sales staff.
- Documentation of all work as completed. Maintain records of all work in the project and update timelines – as well as tracks time in real time.
- Communicate with clients and staff to effectively schedule service tickets.
- Review and prioritize outstanding tasks for the completion of the client’s request.
- Liaise and work with the professional services team on outstanding projects.
- System deployment for internal and external clients.
- Work with the Team Lead to complete and update project tickets as well as mitigate issues with project stages.
- Responsible for adhering to the “B4 Way” in terms of quality of service and wraparound approach to security/backing up.
- Maintain current knowledge of Windows based applications and relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participates in special mini-projects as .
- Communicate properly with all team members inside the help desk and out.
- Strive to meet or exceed all department KPI’s.
- Actively participate in weekly project meetings regarding upcoming and currently active projects.
- Participate in project debriefs to identify any improvements that can be made to the processes in place.
- Assist in the creation and review of designing client’s upcoming projects to identify the scope and requirements for success.
Metrics & KPI's that contribute success to this role
- 90% of deploys/projects delivered on time and within hours within scope.
- Ticket resolutions or project issues are documented.
- All client documentation is kept up to date as changes are made.

- Understanding support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services.

- Strong documentation skills to ensure timely and accurate capture of technical details and task requirements.
- Self-motivated with the need for little supervision.
- Proficient in the following technologies:
- Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025 (Management, migration, administration & troubleshooting)
- Microsoft 365 environment including Admin Center, Entra ID, Exchange, and SharePoint
- Network Routing, Switches, VLAN's
- Sophos and Unifi experience is an asset
- Virtual Server technologies
