We’re looking for a dedicated Independent Chair to lead Child Protection Conferences, with the occasional requirement to chair Looked After Children (LAC) Reviews and act as an Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO). As part of our Independent Statutory Service, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. You’ll work within a committed, county-wide team that operates from multiple venues, offering flexibility and collaboration through our POD system: Norwich & South West & Breckland North, East & Broadland While your primary base will be Bowthorpe Community Hub, you’ll mainly support the Norwich, West and Breckland areas, with flexibility to work across other locations when required. What we’re looking for: Proven experience in chairing complex multi-agency meetings. Strong understanding of child protection and statutory review processes, including LAC Reviews. Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills. Commitment to promoting the voice of the child and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
