Implementation Engineer, Digital Diagnostics (DDx), Europe

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Implementation Engineer, Digital Diagnostics (DDx) in Europe.

As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a key role in deploying advanced AI-powered diagnostic solutions across healthcare organizations in Europe. You will act as the primary technical contact for customers, ensuring smooth and successful implementation of digital pathology platforms and integrations. This position combines hands-on technical work, project management, and client engagement in a rapidly growing, innovation-driven environment. You’ll collaborate closely with IT teams, laboratories, and internal engineering groups to deliver cutting-edge technology that directly improves patient care outcomes.

Accountabilities

• Lead technical implementation projects for digital diagnostics systems with healthcare and laboratory clients across Europe.
• Serve as the primary point of contact during implementation, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Provide hands-on support with integrations, configuration, and connectivity between the platform and client systems (including LIS and image management solutions).
• Coordinate with internal development and support teams to troubleshoot issues and manage escalations effectively.
• Manage project timelines, risks, and communication, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with client requirements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support clients as an application expert when needed.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of product functionality, workflows, and client environments to ensure successful adoption.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a client-facing SaaS implementation or technical delivery role.
• Strong knowledge of lab and IT system integrations, ideally within healthcare or life sciences.
• Experience with HL7 interfaces and familiarity with major Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and customer success.
• Fluency in English and at least one other European language: Spanish, German, French, Swedish/Norwegian/Danish, Czech/Slovak/Polish.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer visits or on-site support.
