This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about ensuring accuracy, quality, and client satisfaction in medical file review processes. You will manage and evaluate medical reports, ensuring all client questions are fully addressed and reports meet departmental standards. This position requires strong communication skills to collaborate with reviewers, clients, and internal teams, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with quality checklists. You will play a key role in upholding service excellence by identifying inconsistencies, providing clarifications, and maintaining ongoing communication with clients. This fully remote role provides the opportunity to contribute to high-volume healthcare processes while leveraging technology to streamline workflows. A proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential to succeed.

Accountabilities:

  • Review completed medical reports and referrals to ensure client questions are addressed and reports are accurate.
  • Follow up with reviewers for additional clarifications and with clients regarding outstanding questions.
  • Ensure all reports adhere to QA checklists, are grammatically correct, and formatted for approval.
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication between clients, reviewers, and operations teams.
  • Monitor referral progress and provide frequent updates to clients.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed to support business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or insurance settings is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with physicians and clients.
  • Critical thinking and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle high-volume work.
  • Proficient in computer use, including typing and technology-based business processes.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable, uninterrupted internet service.
  • Comfortable with long periods of sitting and computer-based work.
