We are looking for someone to Lead and develop our growing ILS Engineering team. As our client demand grows, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the growing function within the UK Defence business. We are looking for someone who can lead the engagements with our clients, develop winning proposals, hire / manage the growing team and technical lead ILS Engineering activities. Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the client to ensure whole life cycle cost model requirements are understood and the problem definition is captured effectively. Provide oversight and guidance over the production of Whole Life Cost Models within the ILS team, including data structure and sourcing, model development and strategy. Analyse and assess model outputs, sensitivity and develop continuous improvements. Provide supportability inputs and support for the wider ILS team towards product strategies, across in-service and in-development programmes. Work Experience Significant experience within the Defence sector Strong experience in Whole Life Cost Model development and oversight. Experience in the service support of low volume, high value, products and systems in a highly regulated environment Understanding of Systems or Product support strategies, solutions and plans, obsolescence, RAMs and logistics. Knowledge and experience of applying through-life support standards such as DEF STAN 00-600, 00-40, 00-42, Mil Std 217F Strong knowledge of MOD support frameworks and their application as a supplier Degree or HND/HNC qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering, or relevant experience in the Defence Industry
