(HX26-077) Patient Services Officer (Grade IV)

  • 1.0 WTE (35 hours per week)
  • Indefinite (a panel may be formed for future indefinite or temporary specified purpose contracts
  • H.S.E. funded
  • Based in Harold’s Cross

To provide professional and efficient administrative and secretarial services and to be the first point of contact for the Community Palliative Care Teams (CPCT) of OLH&CS and to line manage Grade III staff in IPU and Reception Desk.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent state exam / equivalent experience
  • Relevant administration, business, secretarial, leadership or ICT qualification at QQI Level 5 or above

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years’ relevant experience within the previous five years
  • Excellent typing, organisational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general IT systems
  • Expert working knowledge & proficiency of software packages including: Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/PowerPoint

Desirable Requirements

Experience:

  • Relevant administrative experience appropriate to the grade
  • Demonstrated staff management and supervisory experience
