The successful candidate will assist with the preparation, cooking and delivery of a high standard food catering service to patients, residents, meals-on-wheels, staff, volunteers, internal and external functions and visitors, with strict adherence to food safety legislation within the catering department (Central Kitchen, Restaurant, Coffee Dock, ward kitchens/dining rooms) and associated areas. Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

  • London City and Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 NCCB or such equivalent qualifications as may be approved by the Minister for Health from time to time* (Evidence of qualification must be submitted with the application)
  • Primary Food Hygiene Training, EHOA accredited (Evidence of qualification must be submitted with the application)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years current relevant experience in similar/large scale catering environment

Desirable Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Management of Food Hygiene training

Experience:

  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in food hygiene and safety practices
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Practices
  • Experience in IDDSI
